Thrust of the Programme
Select, train and develop the best talent to meet the challenge of developing and managing Power Distribution in India.
Discuss the salient features of functional areas of management.
Share experiences on national and international best practices and innovations in community-based participative distribution-based models.
Facilitate awareness, understanding and implementation of enactments relating to Power Distribution.
Sponsorship
From SEBs / Utilities.
Nominations to be sent by Utilities / SEBs directly to Admission Office, MDI (Prescribed application form can be filled later).
Eligibility
Bachelor's Degree in any discipline as recognized by AIU / AICTE.
Minimum 15 years of post-qualification executive work experience in the Power Sector.
Age between 30 to 45 years.
Admission Procedure
Admission test on May 20, 2006 at Gurgaon, Bangalore, Mumbai, Kolkata.
Candidates qualifying the test will have to appear for interview and group discussion.
Fee
Financial Assistance of Rs. 1,80,000 will be paid by USAID under the DRUM Project.
Participants will have to meet only the boarding charges of Rs. 3,000 per month.
