The Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) is the doctoral level programme of MDI. The objective of the Fellow Programme is to provide high quality management education to develop outstanding scholars, who wish to pursue a career in research and teaching in the field of management.
MDI is looking for candidates with a consistently good academic record, professional accomplishments and strong urge to contribute to the process of knowledge creation and dissemination in the field of management.

The Programme

FPM is a residential programme and would take approximately three to four years to complete. EFPM is largely a non-residential programme (open to candidates only from National Capital Region) and would take approximately four to five years to complete. The students are expected to undergo course work and submit a thesis at the end of the programme.

Area of Specialization

Business Communication, Economics, Finance, Human Behaviour & Organization Development, Human Resource Management, Information Management, Marketing, Operations Management, Strategic Management and PPG for EFPM only.

Eligibility

Candidates should have a Master's degree or equivalent diploma in Business Management with a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying examination. Candidates with master's qualifications in a functional management area, such as finance (MFC), business economics (MBE), human resource management (HRM) may also be considered eligible for specialization in that area, if they satisfy other requirements.

Additional requirement for EFPM

Candidates applying for EFPM need to have a minimum of 10 years of managerial / executive work experience. Also the minimum age limit for admission to this program is 35 years as on 1st January 2007.
