The Post-Graduate Programme in Communications Management (PGPCM) is the flagship programme of MICA. It is a two-year residential programme that is recognized by the industry as a breakthrough in the study of integrated marketing communications management in India.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the PGPCM, the basic qualification required is a three-year / four-year Bachelor’s degree (as in the 10 + 2 + 3 (4) system with a minimum of 50%) or an equivalent qualification in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities. Candidates appearing for the final examination of Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) can also apply.

Students with demonstrable aptitude for conceiving, expressing or assessing ideas that move people to action and achieve business results, will stand better chances of being shortlisted.

Application Forms

Application forms are available at MICA's Admissions Office and can also be downloaded from the websie - www.mica-india.net. Applications are also available in the select branches of State Bank of India, HDFC Bank, UTI Bank, IMS Learning Resources, PT Education, Career Launcher, Career Forum, Erudite and T.I.M.E.

Please send the duly filled in application form downloaded from the site with a draft for Rs. 1350/- in favour of Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad, payable at Ahmedabad, to the Admission Office, MICA, latest by December 15, 2006 for all CAT / GMAT applicants.

Selection Procedure

The selection process for the PGPCM involves three steps: -

CAT / GMAT

All candidats seeking addmission to the PGPCM are required to take CAT (GMAT for NRI & foreign students) as the first step.

NRIs and Foreign Nationals are eligible to appear for the MICA Test (MICAT) without taking CAT subject to clearing GMAT.
