The Programme

The PG programme is a full-time on-campus residential programme. The rapid growth of business has thrown open the need for a very large number of middle level and senior level management professionals in most companies. The demand for such professionals is expected to far exceed the availability. Internal promotions within the organization alone will not be sufficient to feed this demand.
SPJIMR steps in with yet another customer centric initiative to bridge this gap - by providing companies with the right talent for lateral hires and providing formal, quality input in management to high potential individuals with clear career plan and options.

Program Objectives

  • Choice of specialization in Operations, Information Management or HR Management

  • Career focused customized curriculum

  • Judicious mix of academic rigor and practical relevance

  • Insight into multifunctional linkages to facilitate complex problem solving

  • In-depth specialization with general management perspective

  • Awareness of eastern ethos

  • Appreciation of global context

  • Active career counseling for aligning career plans culminating into final placement

    Eligibility

  • Minimum 3 years of Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University in India or abroad.

  • Current CAT / XAT / GMAT score.

  • Work experience of 5 years after graduation. Those with experience of more than 3 years and less than 5 years may be considered on a case to case basis.

  • The last date for application is 30th November 2006. The batch commences in January 2008 after 6 months of Web-learning between July 2007 - December 2007.

    Selection Criteria

  • Potential for lateral shift, clear career plans, sound purpose of taking up this rogram and ability to map the relationship between these by the prospective candidate; and

  • SPJIMR’s assessment of the above.
