INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY, DUBAI MBA (Full-Time) Application Process Students seeking admission to IMT Dubai MBA Program must submit the following documents and information: - An Application for Admission to the MBA Program, duly completed, signed and dated by the applicant. Photocopies of all university, college and other post-secondary degrees and diplomas awarded to the candidate. Attested copies of the original, official transcripts of academic record from all universities, colleges or other post-secondary institutions attended to be submitted in the Office of the Registrar. Official scores of the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) / Combined Admission Test (CAT). Application: Applications for admission to the MBA Program are available on the website or can be personally collected from Admissions office in Dubai or India office. Entry Dates: Classes in the MBA Program begin in early September. For specific starting dates, please consult the Academic Calendar section on the website www.imtdubai.org. Selection Criteria Applicant’s GMAT/ CAT Scores: A minimum overall GMAT score of 520 is required or 60 percentile score of the CAT examination. Applicant’s Undergraduate GPA: All applicants to the MBA programmes must be holding an undergraduate degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent) from an accredited University. Applicants are expected to have achieved at least a GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent. For students graduating from systems that do not use the GPA system, the basis of computing the percentage obtained by the candidate in the bachelor’s degree would be based on the practice followed by the university / institution from where the candidate has obtained the degree. In case of the candidates being awarded grades / GPA instead of marks, the equivalence would be based on the equivalence certified by the university / institution from where they have obtained bachelor's degree. In case the university / institution does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by IMT Dubai by dividing obtained CGPA with the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the resultant with 100. The admissions committee may relax the 3.0 GPA requirement slightly in the case of students with exceptional CAT/GMAT scores. Applicant’s Work Experience: Work experience for IMT Dubai MBA 2-Year Full-Time is not required though candidates having with 1-2 years of work experience will be preferred.
