Competencies - Continuous enhancement of individual and organizational competencies to enhance business performance.

Functional Knowledge - An appreciation of key concepts and activities within the primary management functional areas and interconnections among them is essential for aligning the functional areas with the business strategy.

Business Strategy - This module integrates the Functional Knowledge gained earlier and allows the managers to take decisions and develop strategies that are appropriate for different environments.

Participants' Profile

  • Mid-career professionals with potential for growth who have not had the benefit of formal B-school education and graduates with a minimum of 5 years managerial experience.

  • Technologists seeking to broaden their knowledge of business and move on to general management responsibilities as business heads.

    Programme Delivery

    The programme will be conducted live in the classroom at IIMB.

    Sessions conducted at IIMB Campus and beamed live to select Reliance WebWorld Outlets across India.

    Phase 1 (21st April - 29th April 2007)
    Orientation - On IIMB Campus for all participants
    Phase II (5th May - 28th July 2007)
    10 Weekend Sessions on Saturdays
    Phase III (4th August - 12th August 2007)
    On Campus (Examination / Introduce to Module II) - For all participants at IIMB Campus
    Phase IV (18th August - 27th October 2007)
    10 Weekend Sessions on Saturdays - Sessions conducted at IIMB Campus and beamed live to select Reliance WebWorld Outlets across India
    Phase V (18th November - 25th November 2007)
    Summing-up Sessions - On Campus Examinations / Valediction for all participants at IIMB Campus
