A first class degree in any branch of Engineering.

Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing sector; holding responsibilities in production planning and control, research, design and development, quality control, plant engineering and maintenance, etc.

Candidates may be sponsored by their employers or they may be self-sponsored.

Admission Process

Selection

Selection process of the candidates is based on academic performance, a valid GMAT or GRE score (if available within last three years), relevant work experience, employer's recommendations, and performance in the Aptitude Test and Interview to be conducted jointly by IIM Calcutta, IIT Kanpur & IIT Madras.

Fees

Tuition fees will be Rs. Five Lakhs. In addition, expenses incurred for boarding, lodging, traveling and industry visits in India and abroad would be borne by the students.

Brochure and Application Form can be obtained from VLMP Office at the address given at the end or downloaded from the website - www.iitk.ac.in/vlm - from April 25, 2007.

The completed Application Form, along with a Demand Draft for Rs. 2,000/- in favour of "IIM Calcutta" payable at Kolkata, should be sent through Registered Speed Post / Courier service or handed over in person to VLMP Office, IIM Calcutta, Joka, Diamond Harbour Road, Kolkata-700104.
