About Interactive Distance Learning Programmes

With the aim of helping practicing executives, who are not in a position to join its long duration residential education programmes, the Institute provides an opportunity through the Interactive Distance Learning mode.

In the year 2001, IIMK conceived a new model of management education for working executives. eMEP programme marked the beginning of IIMK’s Interactive Distance Learning (IDL) activities and IIMK pioneered management education through a synchronous interactive learning mode in the Asia Pacific region.

The admission to the eEPF & eEPSM is through a nationwide rigorous selection process. The programme has in-built flexibility that allows the participants acquire necessary knowledge and skills, without adversely affecting their official duties. The classes are regularly held through two-way video and two-way audio communication. The programme will be delivered in 2 key components: 36 hours of classroom learning through In-campus Modules and 189 hours of classroom learning through Interactive Distance Learning (IDL) mode

Executive Education Programmes in Finance (eEPF)

Executive Education Programmes in Finance (eEPF) is conceived with the idea of providing specialized learning in the specific business function. Delivered through interactive distance learning mechanism, the programme offers a range of foundation, advanced and integrative courses in the specific functional area for working executives aiming to build specialized competency in Business Finance.

Participants of the eEPF, on successful completion of the six month long programme, would be awarded the title 'Advanced Certificate in Finance' by IIMK.

Executive Education Programme in Strategic Management (eEPSM)

Executive Education Programme in Strategic Management (eEPSM) is conceived with the idea of providing specialized learning in the specific business function. Delivered through interactive distance learning, the programme offers a range of foundation, advanced and integrative courses in the specific functional area for working executives aiming to build specialized competency in Strategic Management.

Participants of the eEPSM, on successful completion of the six month long programme, would be awarded the title 'Advanced Certificate in Strategic Management' by IIMK.
