Karnataka Management Aptitude Test
For Admission into MBA / MCA Programs Offered by AICTE approved University Affiliated Self-Financing Colleges in Karnataka

Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges’ Association (KPPGCA) was established on 29th January 2003. All University affiliated & AICTE Approved MBA/MCA Colleges in Karnataka will fill their Management quota seats through a separate Entrance Test - KMAT 2007.
The Association at its meeting held recently has decided to hold the Test accordingly. The Association has conducted the test successfully for the last three years and this is the fourth test.

More than 85 colleges from all over Karnataka (affiliated to VTU / Bangalore and other universities) are participating in KMAT 2007. More than 20 Test venues are allocated all over Karnataka. For more information on the participating colleges list can be obtained from www.kmat-2007.com

Last year 13137 Candidates had appeared for the test and around 3600 students are admitted to various Colleges on the basis of KMAT 2006 Score ranking.

Important Dates

  • Sale of Physical Application Form from participating colleges: 14th May 2007
  • Availability of Online Application Form on the website www.kmat-2007.com: 14th May 2007
  • Last date for sale of Physical Application Form from participating colleges: 20th June 2007
  • Last date for availability of Online Application Form on the website www.kmat-2007.com: 20th June 2007
  • Last date for receipt of Completed Application Forms along with a DD of Rs. 500/- for candidates appearing for either MBA or MCA and Rs. 600/- for candidates appearing for both MBA and MCA. DD should be in the name of "KMAT2007" and should be payable at Bangalore: 23rd June 2007
  • Date & Time of KMAT 2007 Entrance Test: 8th July 2007, 2.00 p.m.
  • Declaration of Results: 15th July 2007

    How to Apply

  • Candidates who are applying for either MBA or MCA have to prepare a Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only). Candidates applying for both MBA and MCA have to prepare a Demand Draft of . 600/- (Rupees Six Hundred Only). Demand Draft to be made in favor of "KMAT2007" and should be payable at Bangalore.
