Post Graduate Programme in Agri-Business Management (PGP-ABM)
Commencing from June 2008

IIMA is one of the few management schools in the world, which offers a Two-Year Post Graduate Programme in Agribusiness Management (PGP-ABM). Globalization of trade, explosion of new technologies, rapidly changing role of governments and intense competitive pressures
have brought many new challenges to the Indian food and agri-business sector and is placing unprecedented demands on future managers. IIMA's commitment and expertise in agri-business sector dates back from its inception, when the institute had accepted managerial issues related to under-managed and socially important sectors (particularly food and agriculture) as part of its thrust area.

The PGP-ABM programme is specially designed to develop young men and women into competent professional managers for the agriculture, food and food processing, agri0business, rural, and allied sectors. The programme curriculum has a solid managerial foundation, a focus on food and agricultural marketplace, and is designed to build and enhance a global perspective among participants.

How to Apply

The programme is open to graduates of any discipline with an interest in agri-business and allied sectors (conditions apply). The CAT 2007 Bulletin containing the CAT Application Form and other information is available at designated branches of the UTI Bank / Vijaya Bank for Rs. 1100/- (Rs. 550/- for SC/ST candidates). Under exceptional circumstances, CAT Bulletin can also be obtained directly from Admissions Offices of any of the IIMs by sending a crossed demand draft for Rs. 1100/- (Rs. 550/- for SC/ST candidates if applied with a copy of the SC/ST certificate) drawn in favour of the respective IIM.
