Masters in Business Administration – Telecom Management (MBA - TM)
Established in 1996 Symbiosis Institute of Telecom Management (SITM) is first of it's kind of B school in asia. SITM has successfully catered to the growing needs of the industry and if industry standards are anything to go by, the institute has already proved its mettle and will continue to do so in the future.
The Programme
It is a two years full time Post Graduate Degree Program with Specialization in Marketing & Finance and System & Finance. This course in telecom management in SITM , is an answer to all necessities in the industry. Techno-managers are people who can blend technology and management and apply it to business to run it efficiently and undoubtedly, SITM is the training ground for such individuals. This course in telecom management provides a platform to for all the graduates irrespective of their field, to add a winning edge to their career. Total intake of the course is 100.
Eligibility
The minimum requirement for admission is a Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination (45% for SC/ST). Final year students are also eligible to apply but their admission would be on provisional basis. Candidates pursuing degree examination by part time / correspondence course or in more than one sitting are not eligible. The candidate is responsible to see that he fills the eligibility criteria at the time of taking admission.
Admission Procedure
Register for the Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test which is scheduled on 16th December 2007. For details about SNAP test visit www.snaptest.org. Purchase prospectus & application form of SITM by sending a DD in favour of 'Director, Symbiosis Institute Of Telecom Management ' for Rs. 1200/-.
Prospectus along with application form are available at SITM , Leading IMS , Career Forums and T.I.M.E Centers on cash payment of Rs.1100/.
Application form can also be downloaded from the website. Duly filled Application form can be sent along with the DD of Rs. 1200/- in favour of 'Director, Symbiosis Institute Of Telecom Management'. The prospectus shall be sent by Post to the candidate on receipt of the DD and downloaded Application Form (duly filled).

Date of declaration of results of SNAP test – 08th January, 2008
Last date for sale of Prospectus(SITM): 06th January, 2008
Last date of submitting SITM application form: 10th January, 2008
Date of Declaration of SITM result of short-listed candidates for GD&PI: 25th January, 2008
