Nirma University is a statutory university established under the Gujarat State Act. The Institute of Management (formerly known as Nirma Institute of Management), establiched in 1996, is a constituent institution of Nirma University. The University is recognized
by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under the section 2(f) of the UGC Act. The institute is ranked among the top B-schools in the country. The institute has been offering Post Graduate Programmes in Management from its inception and Doctoral Programmes in Management since 1999.

The Programme

The MBA (Family Business & Entrepreneurship) is a two-year full-time residential programme designed to meet the career requirements of young men and women hailing from business families.

Eligibility

A three-year bachelor's degree (10+2+3) or its equivalent in any discipline from a statutory university. Candidates appearing in the final examination of a bachelor's degree can also apply.

In addition, the applicants have to produce a certificate from their parents or in-laws that the applicant is in family business and will join his/her family business after the completion of the programme. The applicant has to provide information about his parents/in-laws business in documentary form.

Application Form

Prospective candidates are required to fill in the application form. To obtain the application form and prospectus, applicants should send a request along with a demand draft for Rs. 500/- favouring Institute of Management, Nirma University payable at Ahmedabad, addressed to the contact details given at the end.

The completed application form should accompany a processing fee of Rs. 1000/-.

Selection Process

The selection procedure for admission consists of two steps: -
