Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM)
Admission to Batch 2009-11

Eligibility

A three-year Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline from a recognized university. Candidates who expect to complete the final part of their degree examinations by June 15, 2009 may also apply. Offers of admission to such candidates, if made, will
be provisional and will be automatically cancelled in the event of their failing to complete all the requirements for obtaining the degree before June 15, 2009.

Admission Test (XAT / IRMA Test)

Applicants are required to take one of the following Admission Tests: -

  • The admission test to be conducted by Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) on 9th November 2008, OR

  • XAT to be conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur on 4th January 2009.

    Registering for IRMA Test or XAT is a prerequisite for applying to XIM-B's PGPRM.

    How to Apply to XIM-B

    Applicants have to also apply (online) separately for XIM-B programme at www.ximb.ac.in (Sept - Dec). Upon successfully filling the Online Application Form, the Payment Advice Form can be downloaded. The applicant must take a print-out of the same Payment Advice Form and mail it to the Admissions Office, Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar-751013, accompanied by the Application Fee (non-refundable) in one of the following ways: -

  • Original Bank Remittance Slip, after depositing Rs. 1000/- (in cash) at any State Bank of India core branch in the Current A/c No. 30463061882 of Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar; OR

  • Original Bank Remittance Slip, after depositing Rs. 1000/- (in cash) at any branch of AXIS Bank into the S/B Account No. 024010100084039 of Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar; OR

  • A Demand Draft for Rs. 1000/- made out in favour of Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar.

    On receipt of the DD or Bank Remittance Slip / Counterfoil for the required amount and the Payment Advice Form, the Bulletin 2009 will be mailed to the applicant. The last date for applying online is December 10, 2008.

    It may be noted that besides registering for IRMA Test or XAT, one has to apply (online) separately to XIM, Bhubaneswar.
