The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) is hosting the sixth edition of the Eduniversal World Convention.
 

The convention will be inaugurated by Professor Devanath Tirupati, Director, Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, and Mr. Martial Guiette, CEO and Founder of Eduniversal. The entire convention will be chaired by Mr. Martial Guiette.
 

Stimulating panel sessions, thematic tours and a glittering awards ceremony are the highlights of the event.
 

The panel session will include prominent speakers from the sphere of Education such as Professor Philip, President, Xavier Indian Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship, Bangalore; Dr. Aneeta Madhok, President, Open Spaces Consulting, India; Professor Myasoedov, President of Russian Association of Business Education, Russia and others.
 

During the Annual Eduniversal Gala Dinner Awards Ceremony, the official results of the 2013 Eduniversal Deans Votes will be announced.
 

The Top 3 Business Schools in the 9 geographical zones will be rewarded with the special trophy by the members of the Eduniversal International Scientific Committee on behalf of the academic peers from all around the world.
 

The four-day convention will bring together deans, business educators, academics and professionals in the field of Education. It will provide an opportunity for participants to interact and exchange views with academics and administrators from all over the world, see how business, government and society are engaging to move this historical civilization of India towards development and growth, and savor its multicultural heritage.
 

This edition of the convention will weave a path leading to coalition and fostering sustainability, entrepreneurship and innovation among the higher education institutions of the world. It will research and discover the best practices in the field of education.
 

After the 1st Convention in Western Europe (Paris), the 2nd in Africa (Cape Town), the 3rd in Eastern Europe (Prague), the 4th in Far East Asia (Shanghai) and the 5th in Latin America (Lima), Eduniversal is continuing the tour of geographical zones and will stop in Central Asia (Bangalore) for the Sixth edition.

The convention will have a wide range of audience from rectors, vice-rectors, directors, deans, to managers of International Affairs, directors of Postgraduate Studies Executives of International Academic Associations, Government representatives, and will be covered by international media.

Thematic tours
The 2013 Eduniversal convention, for the first time, is introducing ‘Industry thematic tours’, in which the participants will visit companies from specific industries – IT, Entrepreneurship, and Finance
 

These tours aim to promote the meeting of Higher Education leaders and companies, and are a good opportunity to understand companies’ needs and issues.
 

The ‘Industry thematic tours’ will take the form of workshops, either animated by representatives of companies or by Higher Education leaders themselves.
 

Awards Ceremony
During the Annual Eduniversal Gala Dinner Awards Ceremony, the official results of the 2013 Eduniversal Deans Votes will be announced.

During the ‘Palmes Cermony’, each school receives its official trophy rewarding the number of Palmes reached (Eduniversal Official Selection). The Eduniversal Official Selection of the 1000 Best Business Schools worldwide is the result of the work of the International Scientific Committee (ISC) that has established a global mapping system that meets the criteria of universality and the international reputation of each academic institution.
 

Registrations
The participants registered before the convention (2 weeks ahead) will appear in a handbook (delivered to all participants) and on the website. It will give them the opportunity to expand their network by organizing one-to-one meetings with all participants. Spot registration, though not encouraged, is welcome!
