School of Inspired Leadership hosts 'LEAP 2012'

As an interesting new initiative the Executive education & consulting vertical at the School of Inspired Leadership hosts a three day module for a group of international leaders from June 28th to June 30th , 2012. As part of the 3 day learning expedition the participants will get an opportunity to experience & visit communities closely at the grass-root level and interact and discuss issues related to Indian economy with SOIL resident faculty.
The module will witness participation of 26 International leaders.
The module- LEAP 2012 is a transcontinental program designed by Hanken & SSE which aims to encourage new age leaders to develop and enhance leadership skills. The participants of the LEAP program are from global companies like Nokia, Basware, Vacon, Fortum and Glaston. The module at SOIL will include interventions designed to stimulate reflection and action & enhance capabilities of participants for building future plans for Indian markets.
The theme of the India module to be hosted at SOIL is The New Global and Virtual Leadership and key topics are: Virtual leadership; Leading across cultures; Thriving on the matrix; Interpersonal relations; and The new economy. The objective of the India module is to challenge the participants to think outside the box, to learn new perspectives and have new cultural experiences.
We are elated to associate with Hanken & SSE Executive Education to host LEAP 2012 in India. Hosting LEAP will not only provide an exchange platform to enrich students with cross-cultural competence but allow them to interact and exchange ideas with the emerging global young leaders, said Mr. Anil Sachdev, Founder & CEO, School of Inspired Leadership.
In order to offer an insight into development initiatives in India, SOIL will facilitate participants visit to SRF Foundation, Navjyoti India Foundation and Sulabh International Social Service Organisation on the first day of the module. The visit will be followed by a session on growth continents as a driver of world economy. The session will be addressed by Professor Hardayal Singh, Dean, SOIL who has had a very distinguished career with the Indian Revenue Service and has held positions such as Chief Income Tax Commissioner, Additional Secretary Central Vigilance Commission and Income-tax Ombudsman in Mumbai.
On the second and third day, the module will host sessions on issues such as need for change, utilize knowledge from different cultures and personalities and leading virtual teams across the globe.
