SPJIMR, Mumbai wins iInteract Challenge at Innovative Ideators Challenge 2011

Conceived & Produced by Purple Focus & Ideas Infinite ‘Innovative Ideators Challenge 2011’ a nationwide unique innovation challenge announced its winners in a scintillating ceremony on 3rd Feb 2012 at Golfworx, Ambience mall Gurgaon. The challenge was launched in September 2011 the participants went through various rounds & levels for past few months.
The award ceremony was attended by many luminaries of Corporate world including Mr. Siraj Chaudhary, Chairman – Cargill, Mr. Piyush Mathur, President India Region – Nielsen, Jayashri Kulkarni, Director - Strategic Planning, Johnson and Johnson, Ms. Amrita Gangotra, CIO Airtel to name a few.
There were 5 winners this year informed Dinesh Goyal, Co- Founder, Innovative Ideators. SPJIMR Mumbai won iInteract Challenge for an innovative strategy to leverage iInteract's core strength as a simulation-based experiential learning solutions provider to gain market share in various market segments and thoughtful ideas to develop complimentary businesses to become a market leader.
Lead by Nishita Tibrewala along with Rajaaswin K, Priya Zacharia, Shipa Meenakshi & Pooja Shirwaikar was best amongst total of 95 teams who took iInteract Challenge. And On behalf of innovative Ideators team, “I congratulate the winners & take this opportunity to thank one & all for a stupendous response the challenge has received.”
Ideators Innovative Challenge focused on seeking transformational solutions for corporate business challenges and game changing ideas. This competition addressed current and future issues and opportunities envisioned by corporate houses with exceptional ideas generated by students at India’s top 100 post graduate programs.
Commenting on the challenge concept Rahul Vaidya, Co- Founder, Innovative Ideators said, “The Challenge Concept was to build up a unique opportunity to gain the advantages of multiple minds applied to address key business issues & Generates new concepts, SMART ideas . This is a new concept for India, globally its been a great success . We were quite stunned to receive an incredible response at all fronts even though it was first time ever in India.”
The challenge roped in 4 Corporations viz Airtel, Britannia, iInteract & Mad(e) in India, 130 Campus Ambassadors & 8000+ Students at 122 Institutions. Innovative Ideators recorded 2203 Registered Teams out of which 812 teams were shortlisted. The teams included participants from top notch colleges of India, including ISB, IIMA, IIMB, IIMC, IIMI, IIMK, IIML, IIMRn, IIMRk, IIMS, IIMRp, NMIMS, SPJIMR, JBIMS, IIFT, XLRI, XIMB, SCMHRD, FMS, MDI, IMT, TAPMI, UBS, IITB, IITK, IITKr, IITR, IITD, IISc, IITA, BITS IIM’s, IIT’s, XLRI, SPJIMR, MICA, FMS, NIRMA, Welingkar, Great lakes amongst others.
One of the most unique features of Challenge was “NOT A SINGLE PAPER WAS PRINTED IN PROMOTION OF THE CHALLENGE”. The Competition Format was Online - Quick, Rapid and Scalable way to gather a large talent pool addressing real organizational issues using social networking sites like Facebook & LinkedIn. According to Alexa www.InnovativeIdeators.com is amongst the top 15,000 websites in India.The online community Facebook & LinkedIn stats say there were 550,000 Page views to Innovative Ideators page, 2000+ Facebook Fans & 1500+ Linked In friends.
