5500 Candiates Successfully Attempt NMAT Online Admission Test

Over, 5500 candidates tested successfully for the first ever Computer-Based Test for admission to the management programs of India’s premier management school Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) nationally till the end of the second session on day 2.

The NMAT is being conducted at 51 centres in 19 cities by Pearson VUE.

“The feedback on the NMAT online testing experience from candidates has been very positive. The tests were rolled out smoothly at all the centres as per plan”, according to the Chairman of the NMAT Admissions Committee. NMIMS observers at the test centres are working closely with the Pearson VUE team to continue the smooth conduct in the coming days.

NMIMS reminded the candidates to carry their primary and secondary IDs in original to make the process of admitting candidates into the test centre even faster.

This is the first year that the NMAT has gone online. Nearly 40,000 test takers are taking the test in India, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, South Africa, United Arab Emirates, Australia, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Nepal, Singapore and Sri Lanka. The two hour test is designed on a multiple-choice question format that includes a set of questions in Language Skills; Quantitative Skills, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency; and Logical Reasoning.

The test was held in Chandigarh, Delhi, Jaipur and Lucknow in North; Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Nagpur in West; Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin and Hyderabad in South; Allahabad, Bhopal, Indore and Raipur in Central India and Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Kolkata and Patna in the East.

Concluded.
