    FMS (Management of Services) Delhi organising Markibrand '09 : the Annual Marketing Conclave

    Markibrand '09, the Annual Marketing Conclave organized by the Faculty of Management Studies (Management of Services) is to be held on Saturday, 5th September, 2009.

    As a conclave, Markibrand aims to bring together the marketing gurus and the management students on a common platform. Eminent personalities from the industry come to share their knowledge and wisdom gained from years of experience in their respective fields.




    The Theme of this year's summit is: R.I.P : Brand Loyalty: In Search of Resurrection. With a variety of choice of products in each segment, and 360 degrees information inflow, the customer today is pampered with an options galore. In such an era, how does brand loyalty as a concept sustain itself? Brand loyalty has seen dwindling significance in the past few years, and questions are being raised about the reasons for its decline, and probably, on a more important note, what can the marketers do to keep their target audience hooked on to their products?

    In such a situation of contrasting opinions and contradictory facts, the students of FMS decided to tackle the issue head on. Inviting eminent personalities from the industry, calling in aspirants of marketing and pitching them on the same platform, Markibrand intends to discuss and dissect the concept of brand loyalty to the hilt.
