US Ambassador to India, David C. Mulford, Hyderabad, January 27, 2005: David C. Mulford, US Ambassador to India addressed the ISB community today in an interactive session that covered Indo-US relations. Welcoming the Ambassador, Prof. Rammohan Rao, Dean of ISB, said, "We are delighted to have Ambassador Mulford here at the ISB. Interestingly, he has started his career as an academician." Commenting on Indo-US relations, Ambassador Mulford remarked that they have never been better. He said, "India is undergoing a remarkable reform process and I wanted to be a part of this. Reforms are peoples' business and they can be carried out by people who have real imagination and determination." Ambassador Mulford's address at the ISB is a part of interactions, which are a part of the learning process that sets the ISB apart. The ISB philosophy is to provide global management learning, with a difference. Learning from leaders is just one of the ways students add to the theoretical concepts and frameworks taught in the classroom to enrich their learning experience. Concluded.
