Department of Management Studies, IIT Delhi Launches Parivartan 2005 The Parivartan Festival attempts to bring out the inborn as well as imbibed managerial skills in the participants in a fiercely competitive, yet sportingly enjoyable setting. Adrenaline pumping, grey cells working overtime, and lots of socializing and partying - somewhat describes the experience that is Parivartan. The Parivartan Team, with the rather staid title "Cultural Affairs Committee", handles the Management Festival from inception to conclusion, showcasing their organizational and group work abilities. Parivartan 2005, in keeping with the spirit of the institution, announces its theme - "Creativity Unleashed!" The festival is designed to showcase the ever-changing stream of management thought. The festival provides the perfect platform to blend learning and creativity. These include B-schools like the IIMs, XLRI, MDI, SJMSOM (IIT-Bombay), FMS, MICA, NITIE, IIFT, etc., undergraduate institutions in and around Delhi and engineering students from IIT, DCE, and NSIT etc. PARIVARTAN seeks to be the melting pot of all the creativity that students around the country have to offer. The events test not only one's individual prowess but also a collective spirit of team play. There are nine events testing both individual and team skills of the participants, which will be judged by professionals from the industry, academia and the media. This year two new events are being introduced PARIMAN - the mock press contest and PARIGYAN - the online games. The events include Paridhi - The Paper Presentation, Parivedan - B-Quiz, Pariman - Mock Press, Paribhasha - Debate, Parikalpana - The B plan, Parikatha - The Advertising Contest, Parishad - Panel Discussion and Parishkrit - Best CEO contest other than Parichay (Inaugural) and Parisamapan (valedictory). The sponsors include ONGC, SBI, Philips, PNB, Oriental Bank of Commerce, etc.
