Global CEO's on India Study Tour

Previous

The programme will open on March 6 with a high-level overview of the Indian cultural, political and industrial scenario. Speakers such as Gurcharan Das, N. Srinivasan - Director General of the CII, K. V. Kamath of ICICI Bank, Kiran Karnik of NASSCOM, Prabhu Chawla of the India Today Group and others will give the participants a bird's eye-view of India and her changing business scenario. The 'Fellows' will also visit companies who are known models of excellence, both in Mumbai and in Bangalore, to learn firsthand about market dynamics and new ways of looking at the Indian consumer and business.

"Participating in the culture first-hand during corporate visits to locations is worth much more than just reading or hearing about it," says a current Wharton Fellow Gary Chau, who leads the Bombay Sapphire brand for Bacardi. "And quite intuitively, the programme designs the overall learning plan into quick, actionable opportunities in parallel with how our business functions today - small steps for fast, positive results."
