Annual Marketing Challenge 'Marwar 2006' Held at BIM, Trichy

Marwar 2006, the Annual Marketing Challenge at the Bharathidasan Institute of Management, returned with a big bang this July. Bismarc, the Marketing Club of BIM, organized this event for the newly admitted students to the MBA Program 2006-2008.

Marwar was introduced into the MBA program right from the inception of BIM. The objective of this management game was to provide the future managers hands-on experience in the marketing field in specific and all areas of management in general. On the eve of Marwar inauguration, the Director, Prof. Sankaran, said, "In this event, there is value addition for all, and learning not just in the Marketing domain but also in Interpersonal skills".

    Winning Team - Z-Gen

The event lasted a week during which the students had to follow the Marwar Code of Conduct chalked out by Bismarc. The entire batch of first year students was divided into 16 teams. Each team was assigned a pair of guides from the second year. The teams had to design an innovative yet feasible product that has to be launched in the market. Their target market was the second year students.
