Sydenham Institute of Management to Hold Simergence 2006, the Annual Corporate Event
On November 07, 2006

Simergence is the Annual Corporate Event of the premier B-school, Sydenham Institute of Management, Mumbai. Like every year, this year too the event will see top corporate honchos giving their views on topics of national relevance, this year the theme being "India on the Path of Conquest of the World".

The world today has stood up and taken note of India's growing superiority in world business. When one takes examples like Tata's acquisition of Corus Group, or the Mittal's taking over Arcellor, one comes to know the relevance of the statement. Today, Indian companies are being recognized as the global wealth creators and growth initiators which is a story of turnaround and success not only for the Indian business houses but also for a nation which has evolved from being a third world country into a developing nation.

This year the event is being held in the heart of the industry, The BSE, in the Dinshaw Petit International Convention Hall. Simergence 2006 will have corporate holding strategic positions in various Indian business houses giving their views on the topic with a view to enlighten the students and the future managers of the country.

Concluded.
