OIG-IIM Lucknow & CoolAvenues Conducted 'OPSYRUS 2006' Results are Out

The Operations Interest Group (OIG) is the special interest group for Operations in IIM Lucknow and is committed to the cause of enhancing classroom learning and providing a platform for the students to demonstrate their understanding of the subject.

To this end OIG-IIM Lucknow, in partnership with CoolAvenues.com, a leading web portal, organized "Opsyrus 2006", a national level Paper Writing Competition. The topics for the contest were chosen after careful deliberation to reflect the increasing importance of these issues in the field of operations today.

  • Infrastructure Development in India: Challenges & Opportunities from Operations Management Perspective

  • Supply Chain Issues in Disaster Management

    The response was overwhelming with 126 entries received from 24 top management institutes from all over the country. The competition was intense with the team of Abhishek Siroya and Hemant Joshi from IIM Lucknow finally walking away with the honors. Bhupinder Singh and Prasad Deo from NITIE were the first runners up and Vamsee Chandra from IIM Lucknow won the second runner-up spot.
