Finance Research Conference Organized by Goa Institute of Management The Goa Institute of Management (GIM), in association with the Institute of Financial Management and Research (IFMR) is organizing a two-day conference on 'Research on India's Financial System'. This conference will be held on 16th and 17th July 2005 at Hotel Cidade-de-Goa, Panaji. The goal of the Conference is to promote high quality finance research in India. Being conducted for the second year in a row, the conference involves the presentation and discussion of selected research papers .110 paper submissions were received this year which were then subjected to anonymous refereeing. Each paper was reviewed by two members of the program committee. The conference program committee consists of Ajay Shah, Ministry of Finance; Bhagwan Chowdhry, University of California and Indian School of Business; Mihir Desai, Harvard Business School, Raghu Sundaram, Stern School of Business and many other respected names in Finance. The conference is being coordinated by Kshama Fernandes, Goa institute of Management.
