Intaglio 2007-08 at IIM Calcutta Witnesses International Participation at its Highest
On January 4-6, 2008

Several top B-school students, global knowledge giants and top executives from all over the world are making a beeline to the IIM Calcutta campus this January. Intaglio is the first Business School Meet of its kind which boasts of such international brands across countries under its banner.

NERA Economic Consulting, London, the Boston Consulting Group, the India Club (Wharton Business School) and the India Business Forum (London Business School) are the names that will be a part of Intaglio this January.

Intaglio, the Annual International Business School Meet of IIM Calcutta, widely recognized as the Largest Business School Meet in India, is being held from 4th-6th January 2008, with several new ground-shaking initiatives lined up.

Intaglio saw participation from close to a staggering 4000 students from 112 institutes across the world in the preliminary rounds of the events launched in the run-up to Intaglio. Apart from the top Indian schools such as the Indian Institutes of Management, Intaglio received extensive participation from 35 international institutes including Wharton School, Washington University, Carnegie Mellon University, UCLA Anderson School of Management (USA), University of Toronto (Canada), ESCP-EAP (France), etc.

Delegates from several top international schools have confirmed their participation in Intaglio, at IIM Calcutta between 4th-6th of January, 2007. These include: -

1. Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania (Ivy League)
2. London Business School, UK
3. University of Waterloo, Canada
4. National University of Singapore, Singapore
5. Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand
6. Australian Graduate School of Management, Australia

This apart, Intaglio has also opened up to corporate participation this year. Hundreds of executives from about 85 international corporate houses including Boston Consulting Group, McKinsey, Deutsche Bank, Citibank, Bain Consulting, ABN AMRO, etc., have participated in the events of Intaglio. This apart, several Indian companies such as Infosys, ICICI and Tata Consultancy Services have also participated in large numbers.
