MARKS' FETE: NITIE's Marketing Workshop
August 27, 2005

In keeping with our tradition of using every opportunity to enhance the interaction between industry and academic world, to understand live business problems and fine tune our academic concepts to solve those problems, the Marketing Interest Group (MIG) of NITIE is organizing 'Marks fête', an Intra Mumbai B-school Workshop on Marketing on 27th August, 2005 at NITIE.

We, at NITIE, felt the need of a workshop wherein a student would plan strategies, apply theoretical concepts of marketing on live industry problems / cases and get instantaneous feedback from the industry czars. The panelists that have been invited this year include: -

  • Mr. Sujit Das Munshi, Executive Director, A.C.Nielsen
  • Mr. Parag Mohulikar, Former Research Director, ORG MARG
  • Mr. V. Wabgaonkar, Strategic Planning Head, FCB Ulka

The workshop will have two sessions. In the forenoon, the session will be on Market Research and the different tools and techniques used in this field. The afternoon session shall address issues relating to Branding, Advertising and Media Planning.

The top B-schools across Mumbai like JBIMS, NMIMS, SJMSOM, SPJIMR and TISS are invited. There is no limit to the number of entries from a particular college. Each session will have two prizes: -

First Prize: Rs. 1,500/- & Second Prize: Rs. 1,000/-.
