OPSYRUS: The CoolAvenues.com - OIG (IIM Lucknow) Paper Writing Competition
Deadline for Paper Submission: October 7, 2005

The Operations Interest Group (OIG) of IIM Lucknow is a special interest group which aims at developing an interest, imparting knowledge and testing skills in the field of Operations Management. It functions by way of organizing games, case competitions, paper presentations, live projects and other such activities.

CoolAvenues.com joins hands as sponsors with OIG to launch OPSYRUS - The Paper Writing Competition.

Topics

The teams may choose to write on either of the topics listed below: -

• Key Operational Challenges in the BPO-ITES industry
• Managing the Global Supply Chain
• Implementing Lean Production Techniques in India

Only ONE entry per team is allowed.

Eligibility

• All students currently pursuing full time post-graduate management degree from any management school are eligible.

Layout & Format of Paper

• The word count should not exceed 5000 words (including summary).

• The document must be prepared in Microsoft Word in Times New Roman font, sized 12 with 1.5 line spacing.

• References to existing literature must be appropriately quoted.

Important Instructions

• A team of maximum two participants is allowed; both the participants must be from the same institute.

• The Paper must be an original piece of work and must not have been submitted earlier elsewhere.
