Kurukshetra 2005 @ XIM Bhubaneswar In today's corporate battles, one requires a solid armament of critical hard skills that can make the difference between affluence and perdition. BEA B Schools, as the major event is called, is a game open to all B-Schools around India. It kicks off with an intensely fought paper competition between the teams that are taking part. The victors of this round move to play one of the biggest and most unique battles ever fought on this planet, which got tougher this year... They fight it out at... KURUKSHETRA. Proving Grounds So you want to join the army. It's not going to be easy. If you decide that you have what it takes to become a general, then you shall be required to send a papyrus by messenger to the venue mentioned below before the deadline. The papyrus from various civilizations shall be evaluated and six teams each writing on MARKveda, FINveda and SYSveda, and 3 teams each writing on HRveda and OPSveda shall be invited to the Collgeseum. You will have to get the nod of approval from the Gods of War themselves. The selected 24 teams shall be required along with a comrade from your camp to formulate a strategy and advocate it in front of a bloodthirsty audience at the Collgeseum. The Gods of War, two externalia judjus and one internlia judjus, shall pass a judgment on you immediately. You have to impress them with your creativity, knowledge and understanding of the ground that you seek to defend and hence prove that you have what it takes to play the battle that really matters... KURUKSHETRA. Kurukshetra A battle that shall be etched in the annals of history for ages to come. The battle involves teams trying to outthink, outwit and outperform each other. To do so they have to draw up on the resources, intelligence and guts that bought them thus far. To aid them, they have a number of asthras in their artillery such as the Markasthra, Finasthra, Sysasthra, Hrasthra and the Opasthra. Each of these asthras should be deployed tactfully. Very soon, the generals shall realize that the holy battle cannot be won by deploying simply one asthra; they shall have to learn to befuddle their opponents by launching a massive onslaught with all their resources and asthras.
