Bangalore HR Summit 2008 to be Held in December
Theme: "Role of HR in Building Strategic Business Leadership"
On December 19 & 20, 2008 at Leela Palace, Airport Road, Bangalore

Institute of HRD, in association with LiveMint.com will be hosting the Bangalore HR Summit 2008 on December 19 & 20, 2008 at Leela Palace, Airport Road, Bangalore.

In this HR Summit, over 300 Human Resources Professionals from India, Asia Pacific and Middle East are expected to participate and deliberate on the theme, "Role of HR in Building Strategic Business Leadership". The HR Summit will witness presentations and deliberations by eminent CEOs, Senior HR Professionals, Researchers and Academicians. The highlight of the HR Summit will be the keynote address to be delivered by Jim McDevitt, Director, Institute of Business & Management, Adam Smith College, U.K.

The HR Summit will provide a platform for discussions and deliberations on a number of sub-themes which include: Leadership Development: Practices & Case Studies; Developing Leaders for Global Assignments; Leadership for Mergers & Acquisitions; Leadership Training; Leadership Competencies & Models; Building a Leadership Culture in Organizations; Building a Leadership Pipeline, etc.

During the HR Summit, Young HR Manager of the Year 2008 Award will be presented. Some of the Pre-HR Summit events will include: Leaders' Forum, Talent Forum, Workshops on HR Score Card & Emotional Intelligence.
