The star attraction of the day was the Cricket Match played between the faculty and the students. With a few of the faculty gracing the commentary box as well, a lot of pranks were played on the faculty and the students alike by the commentators and an atmosphere of fun and cheerfulness was present.

The Tug-of-War was another event that drew the maximum cheers from the crowd. Having as many as 10 students on each side, this event saw a maximum number of students involved at one point in time. The players were cheered vociferously by their respective sections, and the event ensured that the muscle / brawn power of the budding managers was duly tested.

The Sports Meet was a huge success not only in terms of the enthusiastic participation that was witnessed, but also in terms of the bonhomie and the true spirit of the game that prevailed. The students interacted freely with the faculty and the staff, and also got an opportunity to compete with their revered professors face to face.

An extensive amount of preparation went behind the Sports Meet. A sports ground was prepared inside the campus within a short span of 10 days with a well-laid Cricket Pitch, Race Tracks and a Long Jump Pit. The experience of the first ever Sports Day was extremely fulfilling for all the stake-holders of the institute, i.e., the faculty, the staff and the students. The institute has now pledged itself to making the Sports Day an annual event and all students can surely expect an even more engrossing and entertaining Sports Day next year.
