Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad Organizes ‘Concepto.exe’

India’s leading business school, Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad hosted ‘Concepto.exe’ organized by the students of Entrepreneurship Cell, a student driven committee of IMT Ghaziabad, on 22nd July. The Entrepreneurship Cell of IMT Ghaziabad initiated the event, due to increasing interest and inclination of students towards entrepreneurship.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Anwar Ali, Director, IMT Ghaziabad, expressed, “Concepto.exe is an effort and a platform for budding entrepreneurs to provide guidance, support and resources that will be required to start their venture and prepare them to step into the corporate world.”

Professor S. K. Singh, Chairman, Student Affairs and Dr. Mrinalini Shah were the judges at this event. Dr. Anwar Ali, Director, IMT, Ghaziabad was also present on the occasion.

Total five teams participated in the event and each team showcased their talent in the field of entrepreneurship. The teams were required to come up with a product / service which will have a commercial value and will generate profits in the long run. Each team was evaluated on various aspects of business like business concept, fund generation / financials, marketing / promotion and execution, ROI and future strategy.

Team Vinmaya (International Business batch) presented their business as provider gamut of services including laptop lamination, laptop vent management etc. Services were being provided on weekly and monthly charges. Sale of electronic items and seasonal items like friendship bands was a part of this endeavour.

Team B2 Sporty (Marketing batch) provided sports dedicated services to IMTans. Sports items were delivered on demand at the doorstep of IMT students.

Team Fin-Fiesta (Finance batch) had a very innovative idea of Campus library, where they formed an online portal which would enable IMTans to rent novels from their batch mates.

Team Estetica learning services (Marketing batch) provided services of learning SALSA, a Spanish dance in IMT campus.

Team e-No-Wait (Finance batch) provided services of delivering various items at rooms for IMTans.

Team Vinmaya representing PGDM-IB (2009-2011) class was declared winner by the panel of judges for the wide scope of services provided as also feasibility and profitability of the venture.
