Zeitgeist'05: Spirit of the Times
The First Annual Management Festival at IMT, Nagpur
26th & 27th October 2005

"Growing Intellectually" - carrying this motto forward and with an aspiration to groom tomorrow's leaders - a new era of excellence dawned with the birth of IMT Nagpur - an institution with global academic standards.

IMT Nagpur is organizing its first annual management festival "Zeitgeist'05" in the last week of October 2005 (26th & 27th October). Theme for the event is 'Significance of Bottom of Pyramid for Corporate India'.

The brightest minds of top business schools will assemble at IMT-N for two days to compete, to learn and to have fun during "Zeitgeist'05". Hosted at the sprawling campus, it is an opportunity for the best and the brightest to come together and show their talents and myriad skills in a series of management games, paper presentations, business plan presentations, quizes, etc.

Details of the events that are going to take place are as follows: -

  • Management Thought Symposium
    A round-table conference in which the corporate executives of senior level will discuss on the topic "New Millennium Challenge: How to bridge the great divide between Socialism and Capitalism". This would provide students a unique opportunity to understand Corporate India's view on how to tackle the challenge of Bottom of Pyramid, to usher in the era of Inclusive Capitalism and to create a win-win situation for all.

  • Lectures by Academicians
    They are the people who shape the future, who are first to spot a new trend and everyone looks up to them for pearls of wisdom. Let's listen to the views of the Gurus on the event's theme 'Significance of Bottom of Pyramid for Corporate India'. This series of lectures by the finest minds in the country, promises to be an enriching experience.

  • Haat - A Rural Mela
    Enough lip service has been paid towards satisfying the need of the rural market in India. It's time for action and we invite your plans for reaching the rural India. Even greater challenge will be to execute your plans in a simulated rural environment. See for yourself, how well you understand the ground realities.
