Sansmaran 2005: Annual Alumni Meet at NITIE, Mumbai National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) will be organizing its annual alumni meet SANSMARAN on Saturday, 8th October, 2005. The event, which will be held at NITIE, Vihar Lake, Mumbai, invites and welcomes NITIE alumni community from all parts of the world to relive the past and cherish the memories. 'Sansmaran' is organized in NITIE to keep the interaction between the institute and alumni alive and kicking. This event is for the NITIE alumni community from all parts of the world to relive their fantastic experiences with their loved ones. It's the time for nostalgia, to go down the memory lane with your old friends, faculties and your seniors. Ever since its first PGP alumni passed out in the year 1973, NITIE has grown from strength to strength on the shoulders of its alumni. Our alumni have made a mark for themselves in the various facets of business and research. At NITIE, we have tried to maintain a warm and congenial relationship with our alumni. They have reciprocated by regularly coming to NITIE and interacting with the students, faculty and the staff. Sansmaran is a day of reunion, a day of homage and remembrance. Sansmaran is about Sanskar (tradition), Smaran (memories), Sanskriti (culture) and Sangsparash (bonding). Apart from the regular get-together, several new programs have been planned for this year. The highlight of the day would be a cultural event organized by current NITIE students. The IE-8 batch would be felicitated on the occasion of their Silver Jubilee. This year would also mark the 12th year of the Management Course in NITIE. This would culminate yet another get-together of the corporate stalwarts, the academia and the current batch of NITIE.
