'Building India Inc - SWOT 2005' at DMS, IIT Delhi
October 29, 2005

The entire nation is geared up and is marching towards building India Inc. It has been a long journey laden with innumerable successes and failures. The time has now come where we pause in our paths and weigh our strengths and our weaknesses and see them in the light of our opportunities and threats.
We at Department of Management Studies, IIT Delhi have decided to tread this path of analysis hand in hand with the industry at our annual seminar series - "Building India Inc. - SWOT @ 2005". Not only is this seminar an analysis, but it also serves as a workshop to prepare and train budding managers to bring about positive changes in the economic growth of the country.

"Building India Inc. - SWOT@2005" will serve as a platform where the Government, the Corporate and the Academia, would interact and discuss the current position of India and growth trajectories to achieve our target by 2050. BII also marks the culmination of ‘The Rostrum’ - a fortnightly series of seminars, which focus on specific domains like marketing, finance, IT, etc., organized by the students of DMS. This seminar is an attempt to bring together the Government, Corporate and the Academia, to deliberate on the issues and challenges facing the nation and share their experiences and views with the larger audience.

BII would be held on the 29th of October at Department of Management Studies, IIT Delhi from 9:30 am to 7:00 pm and would comprise of three sessions:

Session I : Manufacturing & Consumer Goods
Session II : Banking Financial Services & Insurance
