BIM, Trichy Faculty Member Prof. Sankar Awarded Samajshri for the Year 2005
Trichy, December 23, 2005: Prof. Sankar, of the 16th batch of BIM and a current faculty member handling finance and operations papers, has been awarded the prestigious national award ‘Samajshri’ for the year 2006. A multiple gold medallist, Prof. Sankar shares this top honour bestowed on eminent executives and illustrious professors in B-schools with around 50 of India’s meritorious citizens.
One of the youngest recipients of this award, Prof. Sankar joins an elite list of great leaders who have been awarded the Samajshri before. The former recipients include Shri. T. N. Seshan, Shri. K. P. S. Gill and Shri. Vijay Mallaya. We take pride in proclaiming this conquest by a BIMite of a new height. The BNA joins the BIM Family in congratulating Prof. Sankar on his great achievement.
