The effectiveness of Rave's approach to product design is proven by its success. Rave has 1600 students using its system. 10 Universities have signed a deal with Rave. Within the first year of inception, Rave's revenue is $3 million.

The Rave case provides good insight into what differentiates internet information from mobile information. Rave is exploring opportunities within India but faces significant challenges due to poor infrastructure and slower acceptance by Indian communications providers.

The IIM Calcutta Dramatics Cell put on a performance of the hugely popular Neil Simon comedy, The Odd Couple. The event was a part of the Regalio cultural events of Intaglio 2005-06.

The Odd Couple follows the lives of two men, Oscar Madison and Felix Ungar, both estranged from their wives. Felix moves in as Oscar's roommate one fateful night, and mayhem ensues. The supporting characters in the play are Oscar's poker playing buddies - Murray the neurotic cop, Roy the finicky accountant, Speed the poker fiend, and the maddeningly ingenuous Vinnie. The love interests are the flirtatious Pigeon sisters, Gwendolyn and Cecily.
