IIM Indore Successfully Concludes Mridang 2010

The day 3 of Mridang lived up to its billing and proved to be the grand finale everyone had hoped it would be.

The day started off with the exciting science and technology quiz and the general quizzes which were conducted by Mr. Arul Mani, a noted quizmaster from the Karnataka quiz money. Prizes worth thousands were up for grabs. The venue was brimming with activity as the smartest brains from across the country cracked one quiz after the other. Then the scene moved the auditorium where the teams from renaissance institute enthralled the audience and won the prizes up for grabs.

Next there was the biggest event on the roster – Cult Icon which tested contestants from all over on their personalities and performing talent. Mr. Ronan Sen from IIM Indore won the competition.

There was a book reading session conducted by Ms. Ira Trivedi, Indore’s very own and respected world over as a beauty pageant contestant and an author.

After this the audience was mesmerized by a splendid Bharatnatiyam by Ms. Meenakshi Chitharanjan a renowned danseuse and a world famous personality. The audience was left gasping and yearning for more.

The curtains on Mridang were drawn by the crowd favourite Fashion Show – Lavanya. Participants from all over the country, from cities like Mumbai, Bhopal and Indore participated for the prize money.

All in all Mridang 2010 proved to be just as spectacular as it had promised at the outset and the sound of Mridang will keep reverberating in the hearts of all Indoreans till the next edition next year.
