NITIE, Mumbai Takes Part in IMS and TIME B-School Tour

NITIE recently took part in the IMS and T.I.M.E. B-School tour. Held in major cities across the country, during the first two weeks January, this event brought together management aspirants from diverse backgrounds, giving them an opportunity to interact with representatives from various top business colleges.

The student coordinators of NITIE (Team IMPACT) were present at the Mumbai edition of the IMS and T.I.M.E. B-School tour last week to shed light on all that the aspirants wanted to learn about the institute. Questions ranged from eligibility criteria to details about the extracurricular activities.

Apart from having all their queries and concerns addressed on a one-to-one level, the aspirants were also informed about Best Business Brains or B³, an upcoming event being organized in the NITIE campus on the 28th of February. This event is aimed to help the aspirants understand the various nuances of business education including the verticals of management, applications to real life, job profiles offered etc. There also is a communication skills workshop intended to provide guidelines as to how to face the interview panel and what constitutes effective participation in a group discussion. With the GD/PI processes in the pipeline for most aspirants, this will help them prepare better.

Darshan Singh, first year student at NITIE says "we want to help aspirants understand their true potential and gain an insight into the importance and relevance of management education. Organizations like IMS and T.I.M.E., having spread out their base to cities throughout the country, act as a good platform for all such promotional activities."

The tours ended in reinforcement of the fact that NITIE, ranked among the top ten business schools in the country, is a sought-after destination among those serious about making a mark in society. NITIE will keep looking ahead and reinventing itself as the world around it changes, to endow the students with knowledge pertaining to the cutting edge technology and skills the industry expects and requires and to always deserve the respect it commands today.
