IIM Lucknow to Celebrate it's 25th Anniversary

IIM Lucknow, celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, has been at the forefront of grooming business leaders who can influence management trends through their thought leadership.

As a grand finale to the Silver Jubilee celebrations, IIM Lucknow is hosting some of the who’s who in the Indian Industry for key note speeches revolving around the theme “Emerging Pillars of the Indian Economy”.

The mega event christened “Samvit’09 – The Leaders’ Conclave” will host the likes of Ms. Kalpana J. Morparia, CEO – JPMorgan, Mr. Pramod Bhasin, Chairman - NASSCOM and President & CEO – Genpact, Mr. Ajit Balakrishnan, Founder & CEO - Rediff.com, Dr. Sandeep Pandey, Magsaysay Award Winner for Emergent Leadership, 2002, Ms. Meera Sanyal – Country Head, ABN AMRO, Dr. Biswadip Mitra – President & Managing Director, Texas Instruments India. The conclave will be anchored by Mr. Sanjeev Srivastava, Editor, BBC India.

The mix of speakers was carefully chosen to reflect different viewpoints of the Indian growth saga. From a social activist to one of the foremost Investment Banker in India to the pioneers of BPO in India, the conclave is a first for IIM Lucknow. The Industry Interaction Committee of IIM Lucknow which is organizing the event sees the conclave become a regular annual feature with the event going International in 2010.

The conclave is scheduled on the 25th of October and will see these leaders interact extensively with the IIM Lucknow student community. The buzz among the students seems to be at a feverish pitch given the stature of the leaders involved in the conclave. The 25th of October will see IIM Lucknow close the silver jubilee celebrations by opening a new chapter in its inimitable record. The school has strongly committed to exponentially enhancing the industry interaction via more workshops, seminars, guest lectures and going by the astute preparation for the conclave; it won’t be long before the school conquers greater peaks in its path.
