GOD

You whispered into my ears sweet nothings during those blissful hours of solitude,
Answering multitudes of questions that impeded the sojourn of life.

You relieved me and pacified an aggravated heart, pouring forth yourself in the deluge of tears,
There was 'I' in grave calmness, having sought confirmation and Elysian guidance!

You taught me to be judicious and blessed me with an insight into peoples' hearts,
Taught me discretion, protecting me from the vicious surroundings.

You stood by my side all through, answered whenever I called you.
An inexhaustible and indefatigable source of energy are you...
... an unlimited source of guidance.

I absorbed you in every thought of mine, could feel you running through my blood,
And could feel your power in every gush of my breath!

Oh my God, my indebtedness to you knows no bounds!
Your magnanimity makes the celestial bodies spin in the cosmos.
Birds fly uninhibitedly in the azure skies,
Rivers jump and flow meanderingly across the zeniths and nadirs because of you!

You make my soul plunge and pivot ecstatically,
Contemplating over and indulging in the passions of life...

Oh master, conductor of the planetary opera, make my thoughts unfettered,
And let a soprano rendition extol the lyrics of my love for you!
