  Sample Chronological Resume

A chronological resume presents your experience and education in reverse chronological sequence, starting with the most recent. You may arrange your headings various ways, depending upon what aspects of your background you wish to stress. Date, job title, organization's name, location and a description of your activities are listed as part of the experience section.

This format is simple, straightforward, and is especially useful for anyone with a history of work, volunteer, and academic experiences that relate directly to the type of job for which he is applying. Most employers prefer the chronological resume.
