Shortlisting

1. Does company has its own application form or uses standard placement form?
The company uses a competency-based application form designed internally.

2. Does company apply the shortlist?
The shortlisting is done on the basis on CGPA, and thereafter, on the competency-based application form.

3. Is the shortlist qualifying in nature or eliminatory (merit-based)?
Answered above.

4. What is normally the ratio of shortlist. (i.e., how many people are shortlisted vs. applied)?
30% of all who applied are shortlisted (on an average).

5. Is there advantage for guys with work experience?
Only if there is a specific requirement.

6. Is there a leaning towards particular background of students in the shortlist? (i.e., engineers (IITs / non-IITs) / commerce graduates / normal graduates / convent educated / non-convent educated)
Only if there is a specific requirement from the business.

7. Do grades matter in the shortlist?
Partially.

8. What role does extra-curricular activities play in the shortlist process?
We look for people who have demonstrated high-performance, innovative, our-of-the-box thinking considering the dynamic culture in the organization.

9. What qualities should the candidate highlight in his resume?
He should answer all questions honestly.
