The Japanese car maker Suzuki is offering with immediate effect on the European markets an all-wheel drive version of its top-of-the-range Kizashi model and the Suzuki Swift.

From the exterior the all-wheel drive version only differs from the front-wheel drive in having a 4x4 badge.

The front and rear axle are linked to each other with a Visko clutch system, taking over the function of a central differential.

Power in the Swift is provided by a 1.2-litre 94 horsepower engine with a claimed consumption figure of only 5.5 litres of petrol. The Swift 4x4 is available in the "club" version with an air conditioning system and a CD-Player.

In addition the Suzuki comes with four electric windows, a height-adjustable driver seat and central locking - all for the price of 14,490 euros ($18,694).

The Kizashi is selling for 29,900 euros or $38,708. Included in the price are leather seats, climate control, xenon lighting, and a park and hilltop assist.
