IIM Bangalore invites application for Certificate Program in Advanced Financial Risk Management

The Executive Education Programmes (EEP) at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) has announced admissions to the 2012 batch of the Certificate Program in Advanced Financial Risk Management starting October 20, 2012.
AFRM is an extensive program directed to financial operators engaged in risk management, such as traders, dealers, asset and fund managers, portfolio managers, financial analysts and managers performing control functions.
This course helps acquire techniques to manage and control risk through the use of over-the-counter and exchange-traded derivatives.
The participants can choose between on campus participation and distance mode education using Web based software. It is an intensive one-year program with on-the-job projects/ assignments ensures that entrepreneurs pursue their learning agenda without taking significant time off from their businesses. The course will be offered by faculty drawn from Finance and Control Area, Economics and Quantitative Methods and Information Systems of Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
The last date for application is August 21, 2012.
