This is Ram. I would like to pursue mba in finance through distance education. Could somebody please help me in knowing the details regarding the same in institutes located in Bangalore.

What kind of course are you looking for?

I have told this to n number of people, n number of times..
Correspondence courses do not help in both short run and long run..
Now again, if u just want a degree for the name alone then do not worry about the institute like IGNOU, ICFAI, Symbi, Alagappa.. anything.. it wont matter at all as in the market its all the same.. 0 value !!
But if u really want to get a mileage, if u are not able to afford a full time; go for a part time MBA or courses thru satellite. This would be a decent option than the corres courses.

As a final year student of MBA in IGNOU i hope i can give opinion,My honest opinion is you can very well choose IGNOU MBA the subject materials are very excellent if use this properly with good study interest,also this university is very cost effective when compared to any other standard universities.
