Which is the best book for improving verbal skill. I had a princeton, but still got too less in verbal. please guide me

from reading comprehension to vocab, the best is THE HINDU... CONFUSED????????/ hahahah jokes apart but if you read this one newspaper regularly you can reach miles, especially the editorial section. apart from hindu you can also look out for THE ECONOMIC TIMES.. YOU NEED A VOCAB OF AROUND 5000WORDS FOR GMAT 7 4000 WORDS FOR CAT..

I agree with gaurav. Building vocab is a slow process and takes its own time but rewards are rich and worth it. Nothing better than have a strong vocab.

Just go through The Hindu every day and dont read para ( that is what majority of us do, try to make sense of para than individual word), rather focus on each word and do it religiously every day for an hour. within 3-4 months you will see results. otherwise everybody buys Norman lewis book but keep it in self only.
