Trump’s “The Apprentice” may be calling it quits, but a four-week business boot camp at Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management is in full swing as Acceleratorä, a unique Summer Business Institute challenges students to learn business by doing business...
For 30 days, a select group of 45 top-notch college students (recent grads and undergrads of all majors) from 26 states and 4 countries are being exposed to CEOs and other executives from a variety of industries with real-world business issues to solve for companies such as American Airlines, FedEx, Lexus, Whirlpool, Hospital Corporation of America, and many more.
And as if the exposure and consulting experience weren’t enough, they’re also competing “Apprentice-style” to earn their team once-in-a-lifetime opportunities with these companies such as: time in the flight simulators at FedEx; a trip to Dallas courtesy of American Airlines to present their recommendations to their executive management team; a table at the National Civil Rights Museum’s Freedom Award celebrity dinner honoring those who have made significant contributions to civil rights movements, internships, and many more winning opportunities that will be revealed soon.
