I have been selected for executive program in applied finance from IIM –C, this course is offered by NiitImperia, I want do do this course for gradually moving in Investment Banking or Wealth management, course will be taught by IIM-C proff, though video conf. and there will be two workshops in IIM in this 1 yr course.( classes twice a week )

I want to know what help will I get by this course fro moving in IB or WM.
How is industry / Job market acceptance for this course?

These courses are very new so we don’t know about placement scenario. Further all depends upon NIIT Imperia as how much effort they put on placements.

earlier similar programs run by Hughes Direway were not that accepted in industry and remained just another degree on your resume. So best ppl to ask will be NIIT Imperia only (but remember they r sales ppl)

Further you can try wealth management but I really doubt if you will get entry in investment banking though u might get into investment banking KPOs.

recently i got to know about this course...however not sure whether it will be useful for me.

I'm a Chartered accountant nad got 4+ years of experience in finance. i wnated to move towards equity analysis/ financial consulting fields. Hence would like to know how useful this course will be
