Do you want to pursue full-time or part-time or correspondence MBA? Each of these options has different ways to apply.

Assuming that the queries in this thread are about Distance MBA Programs of Symbiosis... am posting a coupla links for all those who are interested in pursuing mgmt courses through distance learning...

Keep in mind that Symbiosis Group offers distance education through Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning (SCDL)... which is an autonomous institute approved by Distance Education Council, Government of India (no bets on that, though!!!)...

Admission for the next batch would start sometime in mid-2009... and the Prospectus & Application Forms would be available around that time only (most probably!!!)... But for compact info of last year admissions, you can check CoolAvenues site for all relevant details -

Prospectus & Application Form would be available at the SCDL Office, Pune and select Axis Bank Branches, on payment of Rs. 900/- by cash... OR by sending Demand Draft of Rs. 1100/- drawn in favour of "The Director, SCDL", payable at Pune (India) for receipt by post or courier...

For receipt of Prospectus/Form by post, you are required to download 'Prospectus Request Form' from the SCDL website... fill the same... and send it with your DD of Rs. 1100/-... They would send you the Prospectus-cum-Application Form...

Once the form is received by you... you are just required to fill the form... and send it to SCDL along with relevant attested documents and DD for registration.

Last year the Total Fee for Two Year Post Graduate Programs was Rs. 25,000/-... and students were required to submit it in two installments.

(The above info was true for last year... they might increase the price of the form this year!!!)

Last date for form submission is usually July... but they usually extend the same... :cool:

But I heard that this univ doesn`t give MBA degree as such. They give you a Diploma degree which I think is not of any use.
